Diann helps clients grow and protect their wealth.
Diann has been guiding Asset Strategies clients through the financial planning process, as well as managing their investment assets since early 2012. While living with the challenges of military life and raising a special-needs child, Diann stepped up to financially support her parents. It was this experience that led Diann to a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning from The College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO. Diann went on to earn several prestigious designations including: Certified Financial Planner® and Accredited Domestic Partner Advisor (ADPA®). Serving on our Investment Committee, Diann is responsible for prudently vetting our current and prospective securities. Diann believes strongly that “nothing happens in a vacuum”; that decisions made now affect decisions into the future, making comprehensive financial planning a top priority. She works diligently to make sure that trades are placed in to investments that work towards your financial plan, working with our clients to help them take an optimal amount of risk- not chasing unnecessary return, and sleeping soundly at night. And while Asset Strategies doesn't let tax planning drive the investment philosophy, Diann works to manage and project the impacts of capital gains and losses for our clients. Diann is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), National Association of Financial Planning Advisors (NAPFA), PridePlanners, and the AICPA Personal Financial Planning division.
When not working ...
Diann’s life is busy busy busy. When she’s not at the office, it’s possible that she’s either: mowing the lawn and doing landscaping at her home in Ridgefield; hiking the Appalachian Trail with her husband, Jeff; visiting her daughter in Pennsylvania; or spending time with her son and his fiancée. In addition to her work, home, and family, Diann’s life is also full of philanthropy and community service. Diann currently serves on the Cottey College Board of Trustees. (Cottey College, located in Nevada, Missouri is an independent, liberal arts and sciences college for women, owned and supported by the P.E.O. Sisterhood.) Diann has been a member of the P.EO. Sisterhood since 1998, and served on the executive board of the Connecticut State Chapter 2007 - 2014. Diann loves to have fun, and easily amuses herself. Two of her life mantras are: “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”, and “Live Fully, Love Deeply, Laugh Often.”
